Meg Nagle is nothin' if not honest.  Anyone who follows The Milk Meg on Facebook will be familiar with her genuine, knowledgeable and compassionate style.  She is also funny.

This is reflected in her book, which addressed breastfeeding and sleep.  The book covers topics such as combining work, sleep and breastfeeding (it is possible!), finding your inner marsupial and just what is normal.

If you are preparing for your first child, you may make the rookie mistake (as I did) of assuming the breastfeeding is the easy bit.  If I knew then what I know now, my path may have been smoother.  Boobin' All Day...Boobin' All Night! is gives you the head start, so that you don't make rookie errors or assumptions.  If you are expecting number two (or more) and wondering how breastfeeding can work whilst managing a breastfeeding toddler, you will find ideas and info here.

Meg Nagle looks at breastfeeding and sleep from a biological perspective.  You will not find instructions or stressful schedules in this awesome book.  You will find solid, evidence-based info that can be applied to your unique situation.

If breastfeeding matters to you - this book gives you the insights to getting it right.  Team this up with an Australian Breastfeeding Association education class and you will be well on your way to success.

If you are already rockin' your breastfeeding relationship, this book gives you the evidence-based ammo to discharge those who say you are 'creating a rod for your back', asking when you will stop, or criticising your approach to mothering.  Your instinct says you are right.  This book backs you up.

And as Meg says: #keeponboobin
