Another Australian summer is upon us, and if you are pregnant you are probably wondering, "How on Earth will I cope!"
Here are some tips for Keeping Your Cool this summer:
A spray bottle of water to spritz your face with. (try this in front of fan...brilliant!)
Cool wet (or frozen) washer or cold pack on the back of your neck and forehead. Feet up!
Soak your feet in a cool foot spa/bucket/pool.
Fill the bath with cool water, for an indoor pool experience!
Find a shady pool to float in. (Maybe you can set up a paddling pool?)
Stock your freezer with (healthy) cool treats (comment if you know a particularly good one!)
Drink plenty of water (maybe add some lemon, mint, lime, ice)
Use a fan
Wear a big brimmed hat (sombrero!)
Keep your bedroom as cool as possible (close the curtains, use a fan), consider moving your sleeping place to the coolest room in the house. (by that I mean, get someone else to move it for you!)
Close windows and blinds during the day, open them in the evening for the breeze.
