![]() To Birth Plan or not to Birth Plan – that is the Question: Whether ’tis nobler in the mind to suffer The slings and arrows of obstetric fortune Or to take arms against a sea of troubles, And by opposing end them.To plan- to prepare- My Way; and by preparations to say we end The randomness, and reduce the risk of PTSD That PND is heir to. ‘Tis so much more than to be wish’d. To Plan- to prepare. To Prepare- perchance to Own: ay, there’s the rub! For in that preparation of birth what pathways may come When we have considered all our options, Must give us Confidence. There’s the respect That makes birth dignified .
