I have a confession, my Friend!I may be alone, or perhaps you feel the same, in feeling concerned about 'birth plans' generally, but there is added irksomeness when it it comes to the "visual birth plan". This month I have explored my concerns in a new blog post, I am not a fan of the Visual Birth plan!
Late May saw the passing of French obstetrician and author, Frederick Leyboyer. He reached the magnificent age of 98, and leaves us with his legacy Birth without Violence.
If you are a 'birth junkie', you will know about him, if not, know this:
Leboyer gave us poetic insight. May his message strengthen ever. May we be the change.

THIS IS YOUR BIRTH:
The Informed Woman's Guide to Birth Preparation
is the most comprehensive birth planning guide available for Australian women.
As a first time birther, you may be making it up as you go along. This may seem adventurous or exciting, or overwhelming and daunting. You may be stumbling along, hoping you have the right support, the right information or indeed enough information, but sensing:
YOUR WAY could be better.
More enjoyable. Less stressful.
Often you don't really know what you needed to know until after you've done it! Perhaps you have birthed before, and wish to do things differently this time. You may be reading books, articles, or posts in birth related groups, or watching videos, but feel this won't fully prepare you for YOUR BIRTH.
An Informed Decision involves more than Information.
You need to know what questions to ask!
THIS IS YOUR BIRTH solves the problem.
When you know the questions you need to ask you can find the information you actually need and apply it to your unique circumstances.
